DOOKIE - GREEN DAY TRIBUTE BAND: a project born in the summer of 2007, following exactly the Old Style of the American band Green Day, with only three persons on stage, managing to recall melodies like Longview, She, Basket Case, and Welcome to Paradise. DOOKIE (album of 1994 from which the band got it's name) evolved and kept pace together with Billie Joe's band. In fact, the world famous tour 'Bullet in a Bible', with its song list is a source of inspiration for the group, making them take an important step which completes the initial project, adding a second guitar, and becoming fundamental for the band's new sound and for their show. The show which DOOKIE offers, is as similar to the original as possible: instruments, clothing, choirs and soloist's voice, not forgetting even the smallest movement details (fundamental for the success of the show). Furthermore, the extraordinary physical resemblance and voice of the frontman add on to what has already been achieved, obtaining excellent results. The release of the latest Green Day album 'Concept' is considered vital by DOOKIE, in fact they already preform songs like 21st Century Breakdown, Know your Enemy, 21 Guns, East Jesus Nowhere and others, integrating them in their already successful song list, and obviously always being faithful to the Original.

Italian Version DOOKIE - GREEN DAY TRIBUTE BAND : è un progetto che prende vita nell'estate del 2007 esattamente all'insegna dell'Old Style della Band americana Green Day, solo tre elementi sul palco, riuscendo in questo modo a rievocare sonorità come Longview, She, Basket Case e Welcome to Paradise. Ma l'evoluzione della Band di Billie Joe, ha fatto si che i DOOKIE (album del 1994 da cui prendono il nome) restassero al passo con i tempi. Infatti il successo mondiale del tour “Bullet in a Bible”, la cui scaletta è fonte totale di ispirazione, fa fare uno step molto importante al gruppo che completa quello che era il progetto iniziale, viene inserita una seconda chitarra diventata oramai fondamentale per le nuove sonorità e lo spettacolo. E proprio a proposito dello spettacolo, quello offerto dai DOOKIE, è quanto di più simile all'originale si possa assistere: strumentazione, abbigliamento, voce solista e cori, senza tralasciare neppure il più piccolo dei movimenti (ma fondamentale al fine della riuscita dello spettacolo). La straordinaria somiglianza fisica e vocale del frontman non fanno altro che impreziosire quanto già è stato costruito per ottenere un ottimo risultato. L'uscita dell'ultimo “Concept” Album dei Green Day è da considerarsi linfa vitale dai DOOKIE, infatti fanno già loro pezzi come 21st Century Breakdown, Know your enemy, 21 Guns, East Jesus Nowhere e altri, integrandoli al meglio nella scaletta già collaudata, avendo sempre come riferimento, come deve essere in questi casi, quella Originale.
